A Nevada rental application is provided by a landlord when seeking to verify information about a tenant before signing a lease. The landlord will use the information included in the application and, with the tenant’s signature, gives permission for the landlord to perform the verification.
Laws
- Application Fee – There is no limit on how much a landlord may demand (no statute).
- Security Deposit – The maximum amount allowable is a payment equal to three (3) months’ rent ( NRS 118A.242(1) ).
