A Nebraska rental application allows property landlords the ability to screen applicants interested in a rental property. The tenant will be required to complete and sign the application while paying the non-refundable fee (if any). The tenant can expect to get an answer from the landlord within 1-2 days.

- Application Fee – Application fees have no limit and are non-refundable (no statute).
- Security Deposit – Tenants can be charged up to one (1) month’s rent for security deposits. If they have pets, no more than twenty-five percent (25%) of the monthly rent may be additionally charged ( § 76-1416 ).
