Registering a Vehicle
Upon the private purchase of a vehicle, the buyer will have thirty (30) days to register said vehicle with their local DMV office; out-of-state transfers must be registered within ninety (90) days. Registrations must be renewed once a year, and renewal applications can be submitted online through the Transportation Department’s Online Services .
